Join Portland Cal Ripken for a fast paced and fun filled development baseball league. Designed for those new to the game, they've made many modifications to create a positive and nurturing environment for the absolute beginner. Play is coach pitch with a soft, yet firm safety ball so your player will get hitting distance when making contact yet won't hurt if they get hit. Coaches also keep the pace up so each player has the opportunity for multiple at-bat's, and with a 3 strike then T (as in t-ball) rule, every player is virtually guaranteed a hit. Players rotate positions every inning to give each player a taste and feel for the entire field with plenty of coach and parent guidance to keep them focused and on track.

Open to ages 5-6, this program lasts 8-10 weeks. You and your little ball player will see improvement every week. There's no better introduction to the wonderful game of baseball than with Portland Cal Ripken.
